Hello. I recently bought this little tree(or is it a shrub)? What species is it? And is it a actually a tree or a shrub type. Thank you.

Bonsai is not a tree species. This is just a young plant. It is not a bonsai. Selling this as a bonsai, or even as a potential bonsai, is wrong.

Over 20 years it could be.

I would love to see some bonsai of this species. Have not seen them. Got examples?

But it's sold by the famous Bonsai Boy of New York, so it's got to be a bonsai!
