Just don't overtry. The material tells you what is possible. Windswept, cascade.. All too farfetched.

I think he ment a Fukinagashi/bunjin,something like this.


i don't know if it looks nice with a needle juniper.
I will do nothing drastical to the tree for a while, but it's  nice to think about it.

Orlando, after taking into consideration Auk´s composition (nice job Auk, by the way), I´d say that the option I like best is the third one. The tree in the middle seems more balanced to me or at least the one that fits my aesthetic ideas better ;)

I would keep them all if they were 5 different trees :) but if I had to pick one in the end I would keep the original :)
I think if he fixes the foliage and branches as he said it will look perfect ;)

I cant help imagining it with the top branch turned into deadwood like if it was struck by lightning and the bottom branch kept like it is :)

how about removing all of the branches on the left and keeping the ones on the right turning it into a semi cascade bunjingi style

if I had to pick one in the end I would keep the original :)
