Question 1:
It is late in the evening and you are already in bed watching television when you hear that temperatures will drop below zero degrees Celsius (32 °F) that night. Some of your Bonsai are still outside and you haven't protected them from the cold.
Would you go outside to protect your Bonsai?
No, I would stay in bed
Yes, I would go outside to protect the trees
No, I would do it the next day 

Question 2:
The weather is good and since some of your Bonsai trees need to be repotted, this seems to be a perfect day to spend on your Bonsai. However, you have a lot of work to do as well, what would you do?
I would start repotting my trees immediately
I would repot the trees most desperately in need and focus on my work afterwards
Work is more important, maybe tomorrow I will have more time for my trees

 Question 3:
You are just repotting your Bonsai when friends call and ask you if you would like to go to a party with them. What would you do?
I would leave my Bonsai and go straight to the party
I would go the party but take some time to protect the trees from drying out by putting them back in the soil
I appreciate their invitation but I would prefer to continue work on my Bonsai trees now

Question 4:
Why do you think growing Bonsai is appealing?
I think Bonsai trees are beautiful and it gives me a lot of satisfaction to grow Bonsai
Someone gave it to me as a present; I'm just watering it every now and then
I find the trees beautiful and they decorate the room

Question 5:
What would you do if several of your Bonsai trees were stolen?
How unfortunate, the trees where worth a lot to me...
I wanted to start another hobby anyway...
I would ask all my friends and neighbors to look out for my trees

Question 6:
You have got a new job at a Bonsai store nearby, just like you always have wanted, but someone offers you another job with a slightly higher salary, what would you do?
I would prefer to earn money with my hobby; I will continue my Bonsai job
At the end, money is more important, I would choose the new job
I would to try to combine the two jobs by working at the Bonsai shop on Saturdays

 Question 7:
Friends invite you to go on a "last-minute holiday" with them, but you can't find someone to look after your Bonsai while you're away. What would you do?
I would install some automatic watering system, and hope it works properly while I'm away
I would go with them straight away, maybe it starts raining or something?
I would ask my neighbors or other friends to look after my Bonsai and show them how to water my trees before going anywhere

Question 8:
It is a cold night and you arrive home late at night from your job and your Bonsai are desperately waiting to be watered. What would you do first?
I would go into the garden to water the Bonsai trees right away
I would have dinner firs and probably water my Bonsai tomorrow morning
I would water the indoor-Bonsai trees, but I am not going outside now

Question 9:
One of your Bonsai is infected by an unknown insect, what would you do?
I would throw the tree away; anything else would probably not work anyway
I would spend the necessary time to find a good insecticide to save my tree
I would place the Bonsai separately from my other trees to prevent the insect from spreading and see what happens

Question 10:
You bought a nice tree and after pruning some branches it looks much better. Unfortunately, a few weeks later the tree doesn't react very well and branches are dying. What would you do?
I would remove the dead parts and wait to see how it will react
I would throw the tree away and start work on another
I would spend time removing dead branches and seal all the wounds carefully; and maybe ask a friend what else I can do.

Question 11:
You are working on a Bonsai tree for a few years already, but it doesn't react the way you hoped. What would you do?
I am going to put some extra effort in the tree
I would let the tree grow unrestrained for a year or so, and see what happens
I stop trying and simply buy a new tree

Question 12:
Are you a patient person?
I try to avoid long lines, I dislike having to wait
I am a patient person and I don't mind having to wait sometimes
I absolutely do not like waiting
