When wiring the tree, be carefull to take your wire at the right strength. I noticed in one of the pics that you bend the branch around the wire, in stead of vice versa. This may be avoided by contiously bending the wire, holding the branch with wire section and then pulling the wire around.

Also, bend the branches a little more, in order to bring the foliage closer to the trunc. Such a shame that the green foliage was so far from the main stem.

The main stem of your juniper can also do with a little more bending, twisting from side to side a little. Although I realize that the trunk is quite stiff and hard to bend.

Your table with young ones looks very much like my growing field in the garden. Lots of "so cute" starters, waiting for their time :D

oh im in no hurry with this one, this is its first pruning so you have to expect lanky branches.with the added light backbudding will be rampant.this is also the reason i am not repotting i want all the strength it can muster for new growth.
not sure about the wire you dicribed??? i have 2 branches that are tied to bend them which later will be jinned as for the "tail" the wire is to curve that branch not to pull it down. this is only the first bend i am planning for a very long tail so i didnt want to go too bend crazy with it.

ha ha the table has been full of to sad dead ones this year too,it wasnt a good winter for potted trees this year

OK, I don't know the species; If it creates buds on older wood, great.

As for the branch: Image: 20130507_160912.jpg and then the branch sticking out to the left seens to be wrapped around the wire. But this may be just a visual thing, rather than the true situation
