Hey All,
Not Bonsai, as usual, but.. Did my Mom just left a sick Photinia “somethingii” under my balcony? Never get close to those bushes to know them, but after some googling I suspect this as some Photinia. Doesn’t looks good as B material, but who am I to judge before hear/see/experience.

The plant have chlorosis and few, long time broken branches. Looks weak, but not looks lost. The soil is hellish, but today I read, if it’s really a Photinia sp., they could be hardy in those conditions for a while. Pot broken maybe the result of winters or root growth.

It could make that leaf size, but I wondering, if it could be smaller, due to the size of the future project.

I don't think the issue with the leaves is Chlorosis...
The veins are not dark green, and the leaves are not yellowish enough.

And...
Yes, Photinia can make great bonsai.

Thanks Clicio, nice vid :) Some fungal diseases also:

So you say, is this a Photinia?
I thought chlorosis, cause the leaves looks to have have naturally lighter midrib and veins.

(Comparison for the photos on the posts above, my palm length is 18,5cm)
