I have had what looks like a pest infestation on my tree. The only way I could solve it, was by taking a photo with my phone, and enlarging the picture. Can someone please help me, by telling me what it is I'm dealing with???

Hey Alimoo,
Nor spider, nor ant. : )
Sadly need some better photo, or at least few different angles to identify correctly.

Spiders and ants do not harm your tree.

Can't see the details, but I 'm going to guess these are aphids. They will damage the tree or plant

Six legs and green. Greenfly?

"Aphids are small sap-sucking insects and members of the superfamily Aphidoidea. Common names include greenfly and blackfly"

I saw it, that’s why I asked for more images : )
Geoff and Auk are probably right.
I cannot give a sure conclusion from your only photo, but the body morphology could be aphid-like.

Where aphids, there ants. Those bstrds keep them like cows... If I remember right, we have a topic somewhere where you can see some ants during milking aphids while they living on my tree.

I put another photo up of a dead one. They are very hard to see, like a piece of dust
