Both of them for 2800 yes, i think its a pretty good price. But i talked to a lot of people who have been doing bonsai for sooo long and they all agreed that the beech is one the hardest trees to work with and the result isnt that satisfying since its leaves are huge. I dont know haha, im gonna keep looking at it for another week by then if i feel like its worth i will get it. Do you live in the southern part of sweden?

I live in the Gothenburg area, but my herritage is from skåne and småland.

Beech makes Good bonsai. But best as bigger bonsai. Omono or bigger.

If you decide you dont want the beech, just tell me. Maybe we can make a deal together?

Why would beech need to be big?

Because anything smaller than the four-hand category would not look so good, I guess.

I would pass on both. I would be able to find better beech and juniper trees after one hour walk in the local forrest. But if you can't then go for it.

Oh, by the way; I do not agree that beech bonsai need to be big (At least, not more than any other bonsai; I do prefer bigger sized bonsai in general; I only keep a few shohin myself). Have a look at this shohin by bobbylan in the UK:

I love Shohins... personally because I have small trees and very limited space (no garden, just a balcony) so it migh be a natural choice for me. But this last specimen shown by Leatherback looks really stunning to me! Thanks
