Hi,

I’m a complete newbie. What’s this growing on the exposed roots and soil on my bonsai?
it’s a fukien tea tree.
should i be concerned? how do i fix it? please help!

Looks like weeds and a bit of moss. Pull the weeds

Hi LucR,

I had just watered it a little while ago- i do just water it once a day and drain it till water stops leaking from the drainage holes.
i’m attaching pictures from this morning- does it look okay?

Do not water on a schedule, water when soil feels dry when you touch it. Soil looks too wet now.
Do you keep it inside ?
