Hi all, i live in Astoria, Queens in NY, and i am looking to find a local bonsai club if there is one. I have called the number provided by the website for Queens bonsai club, but it doesn't work.
Anyone can help?

im not familiar with the New York city area so i dont know how far manhattan is from queens,im from the otherside of the state, but check out manhattan bonsai.it is a nursery and they have workshops there. not actually a club,but im sure they can steer you in the right direction

I did, and there is one for Queens NY but the phone # provided is not working... I tried to call several times.

There is Manhattan Bonsai in Westchester County witch is a nursery and does workshops also.
I am thinking of booking one there. Is $200 for bonsai basics.

You are the first. Bonsai person i found close to Astoria.

It's unfortunate that most bonsai clubs are so far apart. I'm nowhere near one and any of the gardens near me refuse to respond to my emails about getting a show or class set up. I even tried a local garden club and well they never got back to me. I guess they would rather hug tulips.

I know there's a bonsai society in Cyhoga Falls, Ohio and a society in Columbus but besides that I'm very much alone.........
