Hi All

I am writing from a small town in South Africa.

Our club is debating the idea of having a educational themed show this year, based around the 7 biomes which we have in our country. I know this is an untraditional way to show our trees, but we are hoping to revive a bit of interest in our area and try encourage young members of the public to come and learn and hopefully get hooked.

As an example, we would like to have a forest biome, which we will display forests in and use a mister to give the feeling of being in a subtropical forest. Then we have a karoo biome, which is very dry and desert like where we can display succulents and acacias with hessian backdrops.

Does anybody know if this has been attempted before? Any thoughts, advice and tips positive or negative will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

the forest biome i think already has been tried, but not with the mister. but the karoo biome has not been tried in my mind, but just to be sure, as i am guessing this, that it has not been attempted on the internet.
