Hello! Help me please!!!! I had my Juniper for about 4 month now. i had to move it, because i didn't have enough sun in my room. Now it has little spider mite on it. Well i think that's what it is. Looks like it been covered with pepper!i sprayed it with solution of water and a little bit of detergent!! is it ok or should i do something else?????

Other than the question about the possible mites, is there any thing wrong with the tree. looks like it has healthy new shoots and branches. I recommend using a organic type neem oil to spray on the pads and foliage.

No, nothing else wrong with it. I will try the oil. Thank you! I keep my tree inside,but On the site says that i should kip Juniper outside? will it survive inside?

it would be best to keep it outside by and large junipers prefer outdoors. Its tempting to bring it in especially when you have it shaping nicely but not advised. I would recommend to look up this site, www.nebonsai.com/Juniper.pdf-- but of course Bonsai Empire has loads of great care tips as well!!!

One thing to mention with junipers is to leave the tools alone and trim with your fingers pinching or twisting the buds and outer growth will keep the roots happy and growing and when you use tools to trim it makes the ends brown and ugly!! Good luck and read read read!

That is true to a certain point, but it will not do any harm to use clippers as I do. Pinching has no effect on the roots, root pruning does. There is no way that Junipers can be kept inside, they are hardy and will not survive otherwise. You don;t say where you live, but take a look at bonsai4me.com it is a superb site with species guides and much more.

Ok, no problem. If you have a garage that would be a good place for it. As long as the tree is not very wet then it will be fine. If it is outside and covered in snow then that will insulate and protect.
But don't take it into a heated place as that will do it no good at all.

Its about 65F in my room , i should move it to sunroom first ,its about 50F there and then take it to the garage?? i dont have any windows in a garage, is that ok?
