Hello, i bought a bonsai trea here, but there where some kind of triangle "stones" in the package.
My question is what are the triangle stones, because when they get wet they are getting soft.

Thank you

What species is it? What country are you in? Where are you keeping it? Sounds like a sponge but it is not of any use with bonsai. Take it off the pot and get rid of it.

Isn't that written on the package? I'm guessing it is fertilizer.

I agree with auk, it is most likely a fertilizer, but they could just be things to stabilise the pot in the package.

Unless you are sure what they are then you would be better to not use them

That is Biogold. I use it myself (not in very large quantities, it's not cheap).
