Like Auk is saying it's a bonsai forum.
But I have grown orchid in the past,Phalaenopsis is a Epiphytes, it do's not need soil to grow in. You can put it in bark or Sphagnum moss but not necessarily if you keep the roots moist. People have send me plants by mail only a few did not survive. If you have a phalaenopsis stop given it fertilizer and put it in a light spot but not in direct sun light. If it was mine I take in out of the pot (if it's in there) flush the roots with (rain)water(not cold)and put it in a small fishtank/empty soda bottle, with a small layer of water in it for humidity on a bright and warm spot and spray with a fine nozzle, occasionally. leave it alone untill you see recovery. I hope you are aware that seedlings take many years to flower.
