Hi everyone,

I wanted to post this topic already 2 weeks ago, when I bought it, but here it is! I've bought this buxus for just €20,- at a bonsai nursery in my country.

It's blooming (I think, they look like some sort of flowers to me) and I really like it! Pictures are from 2 weeks ago, just after I removed all the dead branches and cleaned the trunk a bit.

Comments, critics and tips are always welcome! :)

wow nice tree..a little wiring and prunning, i think with in 2 year you have a valueble broom or properupright bonsai. But i think you need to balance the pot and the tree, the brunches and leaves or the head of the tree is more wider than the pot..i personally recomend a more wider and flater pot.

Great tree Youri.I really like how the bark looks old on boxwood no matter the age.

I asked how old it was, and it was 6 years old! The bark had fooled me, because I also have other boxwoods with the same age, and they don't have such a cool bark as this one! It gives the tree an old appearance, I think if you're going to ask how old it is, people say +10years (without knowing the price) :)

Haha, thanks everyone! :)

leatherback, I've shown them some masterpieces of Japanese artists and some pictures of the Noelanders Trophy, and they now think very different about it. Only it needs to look like a bonsai, otherwise they think it's just some boring plant, lol! ;)

Need to find some more big monsters! :)
