Interesting planting. I haven't built up enough courage to try a slab planting.

It must be great to live someplace, where such trees can grow in such striking beauty. Even your moss is great.

Thank you very much for, yet another, inspiring progression.

You really do really good work.

Thank you, just look how I did it on the post yesterday, Sageretia theezans - Mock Buckthorn Forest Nebari" there a detailed picture, it's quite easy. Just make sure you have them together in a training pot first for a season. Then just transfer them, and thin the base. Apply a clay compost mixture for the moss.

Thank you Samatha, yes the tropics make things grow fast, a few more trees to come.. The moss needs more care then the trees, spraying a couple of times daily necessary.

Maybe, i'll grab some moss next time i walk the dog in the woods. For practice, lately i've been hearing good things about it.

Don't take it to thick, not more than 2-5 mm, otherwise it brakes apart, at least here. Here it is quit hard to find, except in the rain season. Or I have to go up the mountain

I have seen you use 'nebari' in several posts. Could it be you mean 'neagari'?

Thanks for pointing it out, Nebari may refer to: In bonsai aesthetics, the surface roots flaring from the base of a tree. Neagari refers to exposed roots.

I know, that's why I'm asking: do you mean Neagari / exposed roots style?
