Any advice is welcome....other than "that's not bonsai, (not yet) plant it in the ground for ten years then ask, or it's an ok tree but it'll never be bonsai".
Such things are only said when someone posts a plant in a pot that's called a bonsai, but isn't, when something is so young and undeveloped that it needs to grow for another 10 years, or when something is not suitable and will never become a bonsai. Not sure why you are expecting such replies. Your tree does not fall in these categories.
However, it's not easy to give advice seeing only one 2D picture. Wouldn't it be better to ask this at the club where you got it?
