Here's a juniper that I got last summer. IT was too late to root prune and re-pot it, so I slip potted it and repositioned it without disturbing anything.Whe nI took it out and started to work on it I realized that this tree had the densest root ball I have ever seen.Barely any soil came out of the middle of the ball. after such a brutal comb out I decided not to prune the roots. I'll wait until next year to do that.

Hey everyone.
here's my juniper after the emergency re-pot. It's the one that a cat decided to "mark". The dying foliage has slowed down and it's starting to push new growth at the tips of the branches. Since I had to re-pot it I decided to reposition it. I decided this would make a better windswept bonsai than a cascade.....if the cat's didn't kill it.
so here it is...rusty foliage and all in it's new position.
MWid, I don't know what kind it is. It had a tag when I got it from Wally world but it seems to have disappeared.
Snuffy, I think it wasn't a one time deal. We own 3 cats but a few others think my garage is a bed and breakfast.
