Hi lads, update on this wisteria.
It is doing fine, leaves and few flowers covered it´s ugly face (same as I do with my hair).
I still believe I will make a nice bonsai out of it in few years with the help of a carving machine and scissors.

Fall image of my wisteria.



As I am doing some airlayering every year and do not want to start a new thread for every plant, I will make this topic my air-layering one and add new succesfull layerings here.
And continue it with new cydonia shohin air-layer.

The top of wisteria had to go.
Pruned and moved to it´s new winter shelter afterwards.

Repotting today and some initial carving.
Not a bad rootball for one year in the pot :D

I am happy to report that wisteria survived my first attempts at carving, some more of it have been done, rotting wood in touch with soil has been treated with fungicide coat that soaked into the wood and then it was painted with varnish called "Ship varnish" - our substitude for wood hardener. I was worried how it might affect the plant, but luckilly it did no harm and the deadwood is now hard as a rock.
Here is a picture of my daughter waiting for the full bloom that is upon us. I will make a proper photo session when the flowers fully open.
