I'm pretty new to bonsai and i received this tree as a gift after a nearly fatal car accident around the beginning of 2016. I don't know what kind it is or if there is something special i need to do to keep it growing. I'm afraid that it may be dead because it isn't looking too good but I'm not sure because it isn't dry to the point that branches are breaking off. Could someone by chance tell me what tree it is and what i would need to do in order to keep it alive and get it thriving again? Much appreciated if someone could point me in the right direction, i really don't want to lose it. It means a lot to me because of when i received it and who got it for me. Thanks in advance!
