So I mentioned I'm trying to grow some jack pine trees from seed. I have them in a window where they will receive light. I read that when you soak the seeds and they float that they are just shells and won't germinate. Is that true? If that's the case I may never get a sprout...I think only one actually sank and I'm not sure if that's the one I misplaced before planting them.

I'm going to be moving back to Michigan next week so I might not be on at all. We'll see.

What I would do is just plant them and see which will grow. Always try, when you trow some seeds away they will certainly never grow but when you plant them, there's always a chance
