Oxalis? Man, I hate that stuff.... looks nice, sure, but it spreads like crazy.
Is that a little yellow flower right next to the trunk? Such a flower that forms a pod, that when it's ripe and you touch it, shoots seeds all over the place and into your other pots?

That stuff has pretty long roots too.


Pretty invasive stuff. I'm trying to keep my pots free of it. Hard task..

BTW mine are purple.

Most of it, say 75% is not Oxalis.
Oxalis IS invasive, and yes, spreads like crazy. But I manage to keep then under control, I swear. Every day I pick a few, roots and all.

Same here. Recently I overlooked a flower, it turned into a pod.. and when I touched it it exploded. Ah well... more pulling weeds

Now I see how lucky I am.
Anyway, when I started at this hobby and didn´t know oxalis when it appeared on my landscape I considered it nice. Then, later when I saw how it spreads ... well...not that nice KILL IT!

I do have this stuff. It came in a p pot of a new tree I got. It grows fast but it is easy to pluck of f new growth. That I just drop in another pot on top of the soil and it just continues to grow. Seems to have little roots. Even seems to start flowering. I do not know what is. Anyone?

Some kind of sedums I guess. I have similair stuff on few landscapes, it has tiny roots from the start but as it spreads very quickly they get stronger and it is quite hard to pull them out actually.

Ah. Not what I want. This tree needs to be repotted next year so I'll check and get rid of it if necessary, and just keep it in separate pots as accent plants.
