TOPIC: A post of gratitude

A post of gratitude 1 year 7 months ago #38448

I am very grateful to all members of this forum; just by reading old and new posts from auk, leatherback, m5eaygeoff, mimo, manofthetrees, samantha, oscar, just to name a few, I progressed 5 years in 1; by asking, listening, quietly reading or challenging, I have learned techniques and tricks I would never imagined possible.
By navigating on the Empire website one realizes how rich it is and how important is such a repository of great information.
Thank you Oscar and all of you, this has been a delightful journey!

Indeed... Bonsai Empire it´s been slowly, but steadily spreading this art form all around the world. Members from all over the globe do come here searching for info and usually without having a real grasp of what Bonsai really is. That is most certainly my case...

Back in 2013 I was given a Ginseng Ficus by someone who I´m deeply attached to and so my journey started. It´s been a slow one and most certainly it would be a long one too, but I know that without the immediate help of this forum and its members it would have been by far more difficult to really understand what I´m supposed to do and what I possibly shouldn´t do with a tree. I´m forever thankful for those inputs and help I have received or read.

So... Long live Bonsai Empire, its marvelous forum and the forum´s members! :cheer:

I too have also benefited greatly from this forum! While cultural differences can cause problems, they can also be a great asset!

I completely agree with you! Thanks all! And stop thanking me (really) I'm just the facilitator.

Yeah, what has Oscar really done for us lately ;)

Oscar, still a great resource. Hating you for it, as you are blowing my silly website out of the water.

He has now made "Evolve" a main category so it can have it's own sub-categories, each with their own topics!
You can now also see which posts in this main category are new.

At least... I wish he did. But he doesn't want to :)

And I agree. He offers a place for more experienced forum members to discuss things. but he still would like all of us to see all new posts. And why sub categories? You can still just post in all the categories of the forum. Creating a sub-forum seems a little over the top to me.

And I agree.

Obviously you do agree - or rather: you disagree with me. I did not expect anything else.

Why so? You feel I often disagree?

Oh don't be silly. You are one of those members. You advise, study, share, participate and you posted an awesome tree.

So, thank you for doing that what makes me return to this forum.
