Soo.. Two weeks ago there was a show for the part of Germany I am from. With 18M persons, NRW is not the smallest of states, so I was happy to get my tree in the NRW bonsai Tage show. Some pictures..

Wow! That is 875 hours a year working with bonsai. That is really devoted! Keep up this spirit and I am sure you will win sooner or later. I am impressed! Please keep up the good work.

Yeah, these are slightly hairy and soft :)

Hm.. somewhere between 120 and 150 trees.. Wiring, watering, fertilizing, leaf trimming, repotting, stand maintenance.. I would say a good 20 hours a week on average is not unrealistic. More in summer. Less in winter. Now it is a great time of year to come home and not having to water the trees. No getting up early to water. ut soon the winter wiring and trimming will start. And by new year I will probably start repotting (Although I did a bunch of summer repots so not too many to do this year).

Keep up this spirit and I am sure you will win sooner or later. I am impressed!

Pretty sure I will get there. Won the clubs "best tree" this year, and the German New Talent contest last week which is a start.
