Good day.

My Juniper is going to spend this winter outside in zone 6. I have prepared a safe environment for it when it drops to zero & below. Should I protect juniper IN its current container or should I remove & place root ball in the winter environment? Is it proper to cover the tree base or how deep should I bury it for max protection?

Thank you.

Are you talking about 0f or 0c?

If you face 0f, the tree will benefit from some protection. If you gets lots of snow where you are, just put the tree on the ground and make sure it is covered in snow all winter.
