There are pretty hardy plants...and that root over rock looks really nice... :)
I wonder how fast their roots grow. I'll look into that right now.

*just checked*

There is only one website and it's not very informative. It's stull under construction.
Here it is anyway..

Thank you Lance,

I agree...that root-over-rock Erodium is sweet! I had actually found that same website...hope it expands soon!

Here is another website where Erodium is one of their specialies. It appears to be under construction as well. www.kensworldofbonsai.com/id72.html

Hi Folks,

Does anyone here know of links they could share on other types of accent plants used for bonsai presentation? I needs photos for identification of outdoor and indoor plants as well as full and concise care information, please. :)

I was so excited to wake up this morning to find my Erodium reichardii (Cranesbill) accent plant had flowered! :woohoo: This is it's first bloom and there are other buds coming.

I'm wondering tho...taking into consideration that this is an indoor plant, is it okay to be blooming in Winter? Here are two photos of it's very first blossom!

Cute flower Leslie!!! I wouldn't worry at all about the cranes bill blooming now. i have a crown of thorns and it blooms at strange times. Must be something with indoor plants.
Happy Holidays :)
