Hello all,
I just joined this wonderful site. Kudos to the creator - simple, elegant, easy to navigate... must be the bonsai!
Anyways I've been a neophyte far too long in bonsai. Our house when I was young was referred to as the 'plant house,' simply because my parents kept so many trees around. (Very few bonsai). Naturally my house turned out that way as well. (A few more bonsai and too many Orchids, is that possible?)
I've joined to become more skilled, share what I know with others, and browse forums when I'm supposed to be working.
I've attached some pics of some trees-in-training. Comments are always appreciated (even criticism, I can take it), but keep in mind these trees are works in progress (I suppose bonsai always are) and most of them were started from "nursery stock" from a local, and amazing little nursery here in Charlotte, NC. (The last one is a pepper tree I keep in the kitchen for a little spice now and then, gorgeous when they turn red - about 5 or 6 peppers in that photo
If you have any questions about specific trees, I'm happy to start a thread in the appropriate section.
Hope to get to know some of you.
Regards,
Ian
(I may have to do pics separately)
