cool ...
they were left to direct morning sun (till about 10 oclock) for the first month, they had around 6 sets of leaves and the newest were full size,
then they were put into bigger pots.i didnt bother the roots and the straight peat they were growing in i just added bonsai soil around the root ball.
then they were put in full sun, they wilted a few times cuz they dried out so fast but were fine

maybe you should plant some in the full ground so they will fatten up some more

thats my plan in the spring.i figured id do some root pruning and plate them. i also need to move some stuff for room, my bonsai garden is full :silly:

Put it outside asap. Apple trees are real temperate species. They need winter to survive & thrive.

Hey how are your apple seedling coming along? Mine are growing quite fast every time I eat an apple now I make sure to keep the seeds, Im working up a collection of different apples seeds. Do you know if its possible to reduce to leaf size on apple trees? Im pretty stoked for the blossoms next spring.

cool ,my 2 are doing good they havent gotten any taller but the trunks/roots have swelled considerably. as for flowers i beleive it takes 3 to 5 yeaars to mature enough to produce flowers so you will have to wait on that.
