Hi!
I generally just look up my questions but I thought I would try to get an answer that fit my situation more.
I've had ficus bonsai in the past with great success. Then I moved.
The new environment/ me being busy/ and a few other things lead to the demise of two of my ficus trees.
I waited awhile to try and get a handle on how things in my plants new environment works, and then I received a new ficus bonsai as a gift.
I placed him in a 4 season room. Windows are on the North, east, west side.
Two of my remaining bonsai's are happy campers, and my new one was adjusting.
About a month in there though and he was still getting burnt leaves. They were turning brown.
I had THOUGHT he was getting too much light, and thought maybe I could move him to the room next door and he would be happy and look adorable there.
But now he is dropping brown and green leaves.
So my question- Should I move him back?
The south side of my house really doesn't get light. So these are the only two locations where he will get anything natural.
Should I wait longer? It's been about two weeks.
I never had issue with placement at our old place because it had a large window facing south. So I'm really struggling with where to put him without getting too anxious and moving him back and forth. :-/
