Hi!
I generally just look up my questions but I thought I would try to get an answer that fit my situation more.
I've had ficus bonsai in the past with great success. Then I moved.
The new environment/ me being busy/ and a few other things lead to the demise of two of my ficus trees.
I waited awhile to try and get a handle on how things in my plants new environment works, and then I received a new ficus bonsai as a gift.

I placed him in a 4 season room. Windows are on the North, east, west side.
Two of my remaining bonsai's are happy campers, and my new one was adjusting.
About a month in there though and he was still getting burnt leaves. They were turning brown.

I had THOUGHT he was getting too much light, and thought maybe I could move him to the room next door and he would be happy and look adorable there.
But now he is dropping brown and green leaves.

So my question- Should I move him back?
The south side of my house really doesn't get light. So these are the only two locations where he will get anything natural.

Should I wait longer? It's been about two weeks.

I never had issue with placement at our old place because it had a large window facing south. So I'm really struggling with where to put him without getting too anxious and moving him back and forth. :-/

Without pictures it is impossible to tell. Ficus can take full tropical sun once adjusted. And it can take several weeks (a good flush of leaves) as the plant has to creat sun rewistent leaves if the plant was in a dark location.

Without seeing it, it is hard to say what is going on.

Here you are. :)

There is a light next to it. But it is on consistently. And the green leaves and brown leaves are dropping from both sides.
But the side with light is definitely more unhappy.

I do THINK I should move it back. I just wasn't sure if I was getting too trigger happy.

I don't think there is such a thing as "too much light" for a ficus.
They hate being moved, and occasionally they drop leaves.

Sounds good, I will move him back then.
He probably won't like that either. :)
