Hello all. So my question is wether or not i should dig up and separate these seedlings. They are pinus aristata and are about 3 weeks old. I don't want the roots to strangle each other. Will that happen or are they ok for a while.

Roots dont strangle eachother. They will be fine. Focus on keeping them alive for now.

Any tips? this is my first plant I've grown from a seed. I am thinking about putting toothpicks next to the center one to make it grow straight up. Thoughts m

For all except the formal upright, you do NOT want the tree to be straight..

Make sure they get loads of sunlight. Do not keep them too wet. And yeah, as soon as possible, move them outside. UNless you are in summer now, these things should still be in their seeds.

Ok. I'm in winter right now so ill probably wait for spring. Thanks. Last question. Direct sunlight or indirect? They have been doing well in indirect so far.

They need full sun or they will get tall and spindly. With them being actively growing in winter, you are going to get spindly trings as it is anyway I am afraid.

Ok. They are now in full sun. For the record, how do we fell about sun lamps in general for tree growing. Google has mixed info on it and my books don't cover it.
