Ya beat me with that pic post...you have alot of options but i'm thinking you don't want to use the whole tree :P willow will root from a cut log so you can root smaller cuttings in water or air layer a larger branch.

You can also shorten the whole tree to the size you want till you have just only a trunk with no branches left. You put this into a big pot (after pruning some roots) and wait till it makes some branches. This can takes very long, but don't give up the hope! This method you can do with all decidious species, but not for conifers and pines etc. because they die if they have no needles anymore. :)
