LOL! Nothing is ever as simple as it appears...especially in technology. :S but I think I finally found it. Just one question...should I be posting this on a public forum or should I send it via private message?

Easier perhaps would be to install firefox or chrome (both free, and install is very easy).

See:
www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

www.google.com/chrome

The problem is an issue with the setup of this site, particularly the lightroom--effect script that is used. It has nothing to do with which videocard, processor or memory is in your computer.

The browser is important, as each browser has their own peculiarities when it comes to interpretation CSS and JS.

Leslie: You can always see the picture by clicking with the right button on it, and selecting: open in new tab, or open in new window. Also, I am using firefox for browsing and have at the moment no problem You can download that here: www.mozilla.org/en-US/products/download.html

[edit: Just noticed Oscar posted the same thing,. did not realize there was a second page]

Alright, I will keep trying to fix it for all.

For now, the solution is to NOT use IE. All other popular browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari) work perfectly.

Hi Jelle,

Thanks so much for the advice. I right-clicked on the link, opened in another window...and it works great! :cheer:

Okay...I still can't view the darn photos. It's very aggrevating because I often refer back to older posts for guidance but I can't view the small sized attachment photos! :pinch:

As I mentioned before, I'm a long ways from being computer savvy, so I could really use some help, please.

Angie, could you explain to me how to find *explorer 9* so I can update from my present *explorer 8*? I would so appreciate your help. B)

Hey Leslie,
I have a similar problem with photos. I now right click on the pictures here and open them in a new tab.

Thanks Lance. Leatherback suggested the same thing in an earlier post, so that's what I'm doing as well.

A neighbour came in to help me update my Firefox and Explorer today. We'll see.

Glad ya'll figured it out. Wish I was closer - it is easier to fix a computer when you you have access to it.
