Juniperus communis norwegian was created by defra

Hi there,
little introduction
Im dennis, 28 years old and doing bonsai since spring 2016 im from holland
ive been lurking this forum for a while and decided to upload my most recent work here today
id like to get some feedback all comments/critiques are welcome.

Its a juniperus communis norwegian aquired in spring 2017
past week i wired it and tried to style it in the way i had in mind

after repot i cleaned up all the dead rotting wood and carved the deadwood a bit:

this is how it looks today its realy hard to get it right on the pictures it looks beter in real
the big branch wich i covered with a white paper is preserved to help keeping it healthy and if something goes wrong it is a backup plan to make a windswept out of it
not sure about the front yet could be both

You seem to have done all this in a short period. You've also left very little foliage - which the plant needs to grow and recover.
I think you killed it.

If it recovers, I expect it will take very long.

If this doesn't work out, do not be discouraged, it is part of the learning process.
I'm interested to see the further development.

Trial and error is what we learn from ;)

Repot is done in early spring seccond week of march and past week i did the styling past week so it had about 7/8 months between insults and i have done worse to junipers wich survived so in my own opinion i hope im right and it survives :blush:

@Auk heres a pic without cover so you can see the hidden foliage i kept on to help to keep the tree healthy

Ah, OK! Thought you did it all at the same time. Seems the repotting went well, so that's a good thing.
