Yes, thats one of the many corrections needed, I also need to minimize the reverse taper at the base of the trunk

Seems hard to fix but not that big an issue. The overall image of the tree is pretty good. Would love to have one like this.

i think you could air layer the top off and make a mame out of the tiny stump and first branch
