Damn, those red pines are coming along nicely, so is the larix.
I'll be putting a few seedlings that I got from seed in the ground too this year, mostly acers (palmatum, campestre & buergerianum).

what type of tree is this? there are lots of saplings like that all over where i live. are they good for bonsai
