Hello Everyone,
This is my first post so I hope I'm doing this in the correct place. I just acquired an eastern white pine, not ideal for bonsai I know, but it was a healthy looking tree with a good trunk and nice nebari, and it was really cheap. I'm thinking I just want to get this thing acclimated to its surroundings and give it some fertilizer before I cut some larger chunk a off this fall. I'm not quite sure what I want to do with this tree yet. It's an odd shape especially for an EWP. What would your advice be? I'm very excited but also a little anxious about working on my first real long term project. ( in zone 6b, I have about 3 years experience and have 13 trees, mostly tropical descidious. Just thought I give some

That's not two trees. That's one tree that is that slanted to the left. This is my delema. That pot on the left is an apple tree or something. Because of the crazy angle I'm wondering how I should work with this thing.

If you send more pics of the trunk or more angles we could have an idea of what you have to work with ;)
