Hello everyone,

I've recently (in december) buyed in the shop of Bonsai Focus the book 'Bonsai Potters' by Daan Giphart and Lèvon Arzooyan, some wire (4mm, 100g) and a Japanese Kaneshin copper brush.

Firstly my compliments about the site, very informative, nice photo galleries and videos. Also the shop is great and clarifying. Everywhere on the shop is mentioned where it comes from, how big it is and any other informations. Also is everything listed under different menu's, very easy to search something.

It's an online-shop, their office etc. stands in the Netherlands but they ship through almost all countries for low prices.

I've ordered on the 24th of december my stuff. On january the 4th I got a mail that the package was sent. I was from 31st of december on holiday so I don't know when it was delivered at my house.

I came home and everything was careful packaged. Also all the things I buyed were looking good as you can see on the picture. The book I thought it was second-hand because it was only €10,- was new, that was a big surprise!


Plus points:
1. low prices
2. careful packaged and send, products were in good condition
3. beautiful, clarifying shop

Minus points:
1. Late delivery (it could be because of the busy weeks with Christmas etc. but also it was more than a week later till they've actually send it to me)
2. Payment option Ideal I missed, I normally pay with Ideal don't know if this is just a payment in my country or also in other countries though.


Bonsai Focus is a very good shop, worth to take a look!

Thanks Youri! The site looks like a good resource. Does anyone subscribe to their magazine? Or other bonsai magazines?

I have not subscribed to their magazine 'Bonsai Focus', but I have bought just one to see how it was, because it's a famous magazine. It's really nice with various interesting topics!

I think a bonsai magazine would be a nice thing to subscribe to, and that one looks good!

It is a nice magazine, Im subscribed to it for some time now.

Are there other bonsai publications that you subscribe to also?

There is another magazine called 'Bonsai & Suiseki Magazine' (BSM). You can read them online here: issuu.com/bonsaiandsuisekimagazine

They were first always in Italian, but hey made their first english version ( issuu.com/bonsaiandsuisekimagazine/docs/...anuary-february_2012 ) at the beginning of this year.

I don't know if they're going to make more english versions, but I hope so!

Friends of mine who are also doing bonsai (that's the way I came into bonsai!) have subscribed to Bonsai Focus Magazine, so every month (one magazine in 2 weeks) they send me the two latest magazines to me. So now I can also read them, lucky me!
