Hello!!
This is my new bonsai tree..I still learning about how to take care of it so I need some help.

I water it once a week, or when I see the soil is too dry. I live in greece so its pretty sunny near the window and warm weather.
I noticed that the base of the trunk tirned white one day..is this normal or did i water it too much?
Also a week ago lots of leaves suddenly statted dropping, however there lots of new ones coming out..was it too much watering again?

thank you so much!!

This plant looks fine. The white are calcium deposits from your water.

Do note however, this is a bonsai forun, not a houseplant care forum.
