Anyone here interested specifically in Bonsai pots and trying to learn this art and craft? I am very hooked on this and would love to get more knowledge and how to on this craft. I am not interested in diy concrete pots and this kind of stuff, just real traditional bonsai pottery.

Yes I am. But nowhere near having skills and foundation to do so. I am thinking of start attending pottery courses soon, I guess its where it all starts.

Pottery is a whole different world. I took that Journey this past winter as bonsai was slowing down. So many different types of clays, and methods for making pots. I am fortunate enough to work at an elementary school that has a kiln. I have not fired anything other than some crucibles I needed for another project.

Yeah, its the "hidden" part of Bonsai art, or the sub part. I was wondering if there are any sources about the pot techniques and aesthetics specifically for Bonsai. Found some cool videos, including ones shared few posts above but they are only demonstrative, not tutorial.
