ok this is the tree i planted over a limestone rock i just placed the 6 inch high ficus over the rock ang tie it using wire and about a year later.

no it have'nt...insted of using soil i use pure pebble sand and filled it up with water i expost it in sunlight so the water became murky with algae, algae means fertilizer it contain menirals and nitrogen...thats the reason why i use it insted of soil

interesting way to grow ficus... cant do that here tho mine have to come indoors for the winter months
looks to be a good time to prune back those long branches ;)

i allready pruned it after i capture that 1rst image and after 2 weeks the tree already have growing brunches i take a pic of it...im in a tropical region...
