I bought my black pines as 3 year old seadlings. It saved me 3 years for 15 Euro and they where still flexible enough to wire If I would like to do so. However that may not be the case for a three year old seadling in Brazil.
Yea! I mean, the target was the very lower trunk, and now that it holds the movement I can just let it grow without worring much about getting too stiff eventually... And JBPs are not really fast growers here, but I know how you winter goes.
JBPs in Brazil are more present to the South region, because of the colder winter. So I'm glad I can grow it, I find JBPs very cool.
