So, I have noticed people not using anything on the cuts of the Desert roses right after they prune it. I thought you were supposed to use something on the end.

I am open to thoughts and advice. alot of people use cinnamon as it is a fungicide. And then 24-48 hours after, They put on glue to seal it from getting any water in.

So, what is the best thing to do/

I don't use any cut paste, wax or wound sealer when pruning any succulent plant.

What do you use?

Sorry, I understand that I was not clear enough. I use nothing.

In my mind succulent pruning wounds needs to dry up before they can heal. Any cut paste or similar will just trap moist, prevent it from drying up and risks to make the spot rot.
