Hello! My son and husband just gifted me an amazing little bonsai tree and I have never cared for one before. I want to be able to care for her the best I can, so I just enrolled in the online beginners course here. Could anyone help me identify exactly what kind this little tree is? I believe it's a juniper of some sort, but would love to confirm. Any tips/tricks for a very novice bonsai caretaker would be much appreciated!

you are right it is a juniper. learn to care for it first before you try to do anything to it.

One of the main tips would be to keep this outside. In full sun. Do not let the rootball dry out completely. Ensure the soil is not soaking wet either though.
