Is it bonsai-able? (I think I just made that word up) I'm in love with the trunk!

OK, have fun with it!

Just remember: To make a bonsai, it may need a bit of growth. This is still a very young, thin plant!

It is very young, and has a lot of growing to do. I would plant it in the ground for a while or into a large pot. Tis will allow the trunk to thicken to a more suitable size. Then you can start to prune and style the plant. It needs watering and fertiliser and some pruning to open it up more.

Oh joy! I'm so glad I'm getting these helpful tips. My plan is to just maintenance prune for a couple years until it gets bigger. Does that sound like a good plan? I pulled it out of the ground last year (mid summer). The trunk had twisted that way itself. I'm excited that it simply made it through the winter.
M5eaygeoff- What tool should I use to prune? I read that I should be pinching new growth because a pruner will turn the foliage brown -which is what ruined my previous attempt on a different tree.TYVVM☺️

Which tree are you referring to?

I would not prune a lot. Better just let it grow for a while. Gettin a thricker trunk means you have to let the plant get bigger. (Most bonsai are cut down to size, and not grown into bonsai size). I trim my junipers with sharp scissors. Any sharp scissors would do.
