You are a true artist!

When I see the result I figure that If I would have done it, I would have cut the left branch going upward..... just to realize a few hours later that it was needed to build the silouette. As a conclusion, this is not the best material you have worked on. But it ended up really Nice in the end.

I'll happily let you work on this tree. Come over to Germany next year and next christmas break you can rewire this small tree (It stands about 80cm tall). Took me probably 10 hours to do the repotting, deadwood, Wiring, and stlying

I toyed with the idea of removing the left branches and going literati. But I thought this was more interesting. This type of branches is normal for yamadori. Not sure where it was collected, but I got it from a good traider near me, for a good price (I traded in a small carpinus I worked on for some 6 years). In the end, I spent maybe half an hour getting the lowest branch down. It is now completely hollow, so it would bend..

Nice tree, larch is my favorite tree to work on.
The only thing that I found a little disturbing is the reverse tappering on 1/3 of the top.
ps. If Clicio can't come to Germany, can I ?

Yeah. Eentually I will take a peek at that area. I think the trunk is partially dead there and I will carve it a little if needs be. But for now, I will let the tree recover for a year or two.

I think I know Clicio a little better than you. But I have ahd a few requests for people to come by or me to come and work their trees. For now I mainly work my own trees (Besides a few demos and lectures I did this year). Maybe one day I will do some more public things. Will let you know.

I think I know Clicio

Well, yes, I intend to be in Germany next Christmas, so the chances are high. It would be an honor working in one of your trees, lb.
As for FrankC it would be nice to know him in person, wouldn't it?
Let's all have a wonderful 2020!
