Hey there. I found this interesting article over the weekend and wanted to share it with you guys and gals. I will most definitely try this next spring when working on my trees. Hopefully you can find some benefit too!

that is actually quite simply, amazingly simple, yet completely genius. using the bark to cover the cut is awesome, it could hide many ugly cuts!

do not know why i am only seeing this now! (this topic was from ages back).

that would be good, the pictures on the website did not show it when the cut was executed far back in time.

Yup,
Knew it, have used it. Waiting till fall to look underneath the cut paste. See: www.bonsaiempire.nl/forum/gevorderde-tec...-meer-techniek#33459

Note that John Naka advises to do this in winter, in order to keep the link between cambium and outer bark. (I did it in early spring ;) )
