But to be a bit more technical, most bonsai experts try to avoid crossing wires (arrows in red) or leaving loose wiring behind (arrows in green).
BTW, isn't the trunk still thin to start wiring? It's a genuine question, I am here to learn.

Just from first glance it looks to me like you crossed the wires on the tree. Doing that will choke the tree and kill it. You should remove those. To wire the trunk you can anchor the wire directly to the pot or stick it down in the soil, then you need to wrap the wire in a 45 to 65 degree angle tightly around the trunk, to loose and it won't hold it's shape and to tight it will look springie and hold no porpoise. If you need to use additional wire wrap it in the same direction as the first wire ie clock wise or counter clock wise. If you want to turn the branch left wrap the wire in a counter clock wise manner so it tightens as you bend the branch and vice versa if you want to go right.
