New to this site so allow me some noob-slack haha.
I am a maker of things based out of Bloomington, Indiana. This post is intended to solicit some advice and or opinions of some new works ( bonsai planters ) I have been preparing. I don't have too much interaction with Bonsai growers in my home town so I am curious what you all think! All of the attachments are works in progress and are but a small sampling of a wide array.

When glazed, I might use such a pot for an accent plant, maybe a fern, the leaves cascading over the side of the pot. I don't see any of my trees in 'm though.

Generally white isn't the color of choice for bonsai pots, probably because it attracts too much attention and overpowers the tree.
They seem fine in all other ways, I'm sure someone would want to buy them. Do they have legs so that they can drain properly?

Do you think so? Usually, bonsai pots (trays) are shallow, and these pots are quite high. Maybe they're suitable for specific styles.

The last one may be a bit tall but palm-sized pots generally have taller-looking sides than larger pots. The first two are better but I agree with what you say about them being more suited for accent plants.

I'd find a use for them. Always interested in non-traditional pots, and have several from local potters. Keep throwing!

One of the key elements for bonsai pots is drainage. Very large drainage holes. And ideally some smaller holes that will fit up to 2 mm wire, to wired the plant into the pot. Drainage. Drainage. Darainage!

Legs - a design element I am still trying to figure in... So far I have been having them on raised wooden slats / like a watering table outside, so the water can freely drain. Some elevation and a collection tray is however a very appropriate angle to tackle. Thanks for your advice!

Thanks for the encouragement, brkirkland22. I will most certainly keep it up / take into account the advice of our fellow enthusiasts!

I know a few potters that leave a thick foot, wait until leather hard, then carve out "feet". And, I have a few that merely utilize cutaways instead of full supports. PM me an email address, & I'll send you some images of a few examples I have.
