or does everyone love going out to look at their trees everyday. i find myself going out back to look at my trees every single day like if i was going to see a big change over night lol. but yet i enjoy it so much. i mean my collecting is probably no where near a nice as some members here but i enjoy it very much. its just to exciting. especially when you learn new techniques and implement them and actually see the change its very rewarding. cant wait for spring flush!

Well, twice a day if I can.
I enjoy it a lot!

I'm not at home every day, but yeah, first thing I do when I am at home is have a look, see how everything is doing.
Not that there's that much to see - things are pretty much still standing still. In spring, I'll be outside multiple times per day.

I spend a lot of time with my trees. Mainly because half of what I do as a musician. is practice, which is mosty done at home.. so tree care is often done in between practice sessions. My days off, or when I don't have studenta, I do more work on them.

That's hilarious, i get the "your out there again! whats there to see they look just like they did yesterday !" half my trees are deciduous trees so i always tell her wait till spring then you will understand why. but me myself i love look at their winter silhouette's.

Oh! That is so NOT true! I'm at home today, the weather is great, and I've been looking at my Chaenomeles for at least 7 times today. The leaves have absolutely grown for at least half a millimeter!

More exciting than you'd think: it means the plant has gotten though this cold period and seems to not have suffered much from it.
This period I'll be anxiously looking at buds. Some trees are sooner, some will take a few more weeks. Seeing bits of green appear in the buds of my still brown larch and Ginkgo... yeah, I love that :)

i know what you mean, i recently started seeing small buds on my Japanese red maple this weekend and man was i excited. i lost one last year due to Pseudomonas syringae and thought this one might have it too but looks like its ok.
