i would say its just young growth the tree looks to be growing healthy.i do not have an acacia but my ficus and maples can take a few weeks to get their full color after defoliation

Is this tree an acacia tho? I saw on this website white acacia, which looks almost identical except for the fact that this tree doesn't get thorns, the parent tree is in my garden so I know that It wont grow any. Yeah the tree has put out lots of growth really quickly.

hmmm not really sure,do the leaves droop in the dark cuz thats what acacias do?there are alot of species of them i do know that

Yes the leaves do droop in the dark, but not by much.
