Juniper Browning Fast! was created by SimplyWalker

Hello everyone! I just received my Juniper bonsai 3 days ago and have been researching vigorously in hope of ensuring a long, happy life for this little guy. I am a bit worried as upon receiving him, his soil was sopping wet. I know it is an outdoor plant and therefore, i normally keep him outside (inside for pics, but has humidity tray for now), but I'm not sure if this browning is due to what I'm thinking is overwatering or if it is natural due to the season? I purchased some new bonsai soil, so I will likely change the soil to one that is better draining today unless you all believe the issue to be separate. Just as well, any help on identifying the type of juniper this is would be really helpful as well! Please help, I really want to make sure my bonsai is healthy!

If you want help with your bonsai I suggest you post a picture of your bonsai.

If you want help with your young juniper: as you got it for only 3 days, you should contact the seller.

So where are the brown branches? It shows none in the pictures you posted. Get it outside and lave it alone

Repotting at this time of year is not such a good idea. Also, i do not see anything that would be an issue.

Just keep it outside. Shelter a bit for the rain if possible. But also with shelter it should be ok.
